West Florida Electric Cooperative (WFEC) District 5 Trustee, David Corbin (right) was recently presented with a Director Gold re-certification by Shawn Walling, WFEC Executive Vice President & CEO (left). The Director Gold Credential recognizes trustees committed to continuing their education beyond the Credentialed Cooperative Certificate and Board Leadership Certificate. Director Gold demonstrates a tangible commitment for advancing their knowledge and executing their board responsibilities to the best of their ability. Re-certification requires a trustee to earn three credits by taking National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) approved education programs within a two-year period.
