Small Steps, Smart Choices
Knowing where to start is half the battle of creating a more energy-efficient life, and making the right HVAC choices can save you money over the long term. Let's talk about small steps and smart choices.
Adjust your thermostat
A good starting point is setting your thermostat at 68 degrees in winter, and adjusting the thermostat when you are away from home. You can save as much as 10 percent on annual heating costs simply by turning your thermostat back from its normal setting. A programmable thermostat can
do this for you every day as you and your family leave for work or school.
